Cloud9 Signs Entity's Dota 2 Roster

Cloud9 has announced the acquisition of the entire Entity Dota 2 roster. The terms of the deal have not been disclosed. It remains uncertain whether Entity will form a new Dota 2 team in the future.

Entity launched their Dota 2 division in 2016 but only gained significant results and recognition after signing the Creepwave team in 2021. Following a series of roster changes, Entity's lineup included watson, No[o]ne-, DM, Kataomi, and Fishman.

Cloud9 made their debut on the Dota 2 scene in 2014, with the organization frequently disbanding and reforming teams. In 2020, the club parted ways with EternaLEnVy, Ace, Sneyking, MISERY, and pieliedie, after which Cloud9 did not have a Dota 2 roster.

The Entity roster qualified for The International 2024 through the Western Europe qualifiers, meaning Cloud9 will now compete in the year's main tournament. The competition will take place in Copenhagen from September 4 to 15.
