Team Vitality wins Paris Major
The last Major in CS:GO history ended in France on the evening of May 21st. The French team Team Vitality was crowned champion of the tournament.
Team Vitality did not lose a single map on their way to the Grand Final. In the Legends Stage, the team defeated G2 and ENCE in best-of-1 matches, and then beat Monte (2-0). In the playoffs, Team Vitality defeated Into The Breach and Apeks consecutively before winning Overpass (16-11) and Nuke (16-13) in the Grand Final against GamerLegion.
The total prize pool for the BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023 was $1,250,000. Team Vitality took home $500,000 and an invitation to the BLAST Premier: World Final 2023. The tournament will be held in Abu Dhabi from December 12th to 17th, 2023.
