G2 Esports Benches nexa
G2 Esports has announced a roster change following the start of the summer break in the professional Counter-Strike scene.
nexa, who joined G2 Esports from OG in November 2022, has left the main roster.
The replacement for the player has not yet been officially announced. The club promised to reveal this later, but according to unconfirmed reports, malbsMd from M80 will be the new player. Insiders also do not rule out another replacement in the G2 Esports lineup.
With G2, nexa won IEM Dallas 2024, and achieved 3-4th place finishes at both PGL Major Copenhagen 2024 and IEM Chengdu 2024. At the recent BLAST Premier: Spring Final 2024, the G2 Esports team placed in the top 8.
The next tournament for the updated G2 roster will be the Esports World Cup 2024, which begins on July 17.
